Dear Emme,
About a month ago we visited the Houston Aquarium with some sweet friends. It was our first trip to an aquarium, and we had a really fun day!
First we got to walk through a "rainforest" and see some exotic birds.
(Notice I'm holding up my right arm like it's hurt. I thought my wristband was a bandaid, and so I held my arm up like this through the entire exhibit. You know, since a bandaid obviously means there's a boo-boo under it.)
Em, you didn't get to do this next part since you're still so little, but since I'm a big boy I got to touch a baby ray! It was really cool! I wasn't scared at all and dipped my finger in the water every time they passed by.
The white tiger exhibit was last. You and I both loved this one. Daddy told me that big kids can have overnight birthday parties in this very room! Can you imagine spending the night with some white tigers?
Once we had walked through all of the exhibits, we went outside and rode the shark train and carousel.
Maybe next time you'll get to touch a baby ray, too!
